+Can I still join after the season starts?
Yes. Registration stays open well into the season — you don't have to be in on day one. For the inaugural season, you can get your ticket and level in any time up to the deadline, about two weeks before the season closes on season close. After that, entries close so the final standings can settle. As a rule, every season's registration closes two weeks before its last day.
+If I join late, do I still have a real shot?
Straight answer: yes, but you'll have less runway. The season scores your best 10 validated games, and prizes need you to clear the eligibility bar — 5 validated games, at least 2 of them on the AiBall (camera) court. Join with three weeks left and that's very doable. Join with one week left and you'll need to play a lot of good games, fast — possible, but a real push.
So joining late isn't a penalty, it's a trade: fewer weeks to bank your best games. If you're in, get in — every week you wait is a week of League Points you're not banking. But if this week is the week you found us, don't let a late start stop you. The ladder's still yours to climb.
+What do I need to be eligible for prizes?
Two things. Play at least 5 validated games during the season, and make sure at least 2 of them are on the AiBall (camera) court — that's the court that verifies your play. Your season score is your best 10 validated games, so beyond the minimum, more good games only helps.
+I joined after the season started — am I in the running for every prize?
Almost all of them. Champion, band winners, and rewards are all open to you. The one exception is Biggest Climber — that prize measures how many rungs you gain from your starting position on the opening-day ladder, and if you joined after opening day, there's no opening-day rung to climb from. Everything else is fair game.
